South Kingstown Police are behind Client’s vehicle when they notice the car swerving in between lanes, and then driving for a period of time in the breakdown lane. Police stop Client and observe his vehicle slowly roll to a stop eventually on the grass. When police approach, they observe Client to have a strong odor of alcohol, bloodshot and watery eyes and slurred speech. Client took and failed 3 field-sobriety tests. Client refused to take the Breathalyzer test once back at the station.
